Located on the very popular Gibbs Beach, is this charming chalet style beach house, made of bleached timber with a shingle roof and has a unique rustic ambiance, enjoying stunning ocean views. The property is fully enclosed and accessed via remote control entry gates.

Dudley Wood is set over three floors all connected by a charming spiral staircase. Entry to the villa is accessed at mid-level over a small wooden bridge from the off-road parking area into the main living area. This level and the upper floor are built entirely of wood, with wooden floors, walls and exposed pickled pine ceiling as created an informal sitting area which has been re-decorated to provide laid-back comfort.

Towards the beach are large picture windows and shutters that open to provide excellent pool and sea views (child safety bars have been installed for use as required).

There are two bedrooms on this level located off the sitting room with en suite bathrooms. A wooden spiral staircase leads upstairs to the attic where a third bedroom with en suite shower/bathroom is located. The master bedroom and a second bedroom are both en suite with king size beds. All the bedrooms are comfortably fitted with air-conditioning and ceiling fans.

The spiral staircase also leads downstairs to a well-equipped kitchen, with a small dining alcove, where a smaller, fourth bedroom with en suite bathroom is located. (Note this bedroom is suitable for single occupancy only).

A door leads out to the enclosed garden, surrounded by mature trees, providing shade and privacy. There is a swimming pool and coral stone deck with sun loungers. Adjacent to the pool and deck is an alfresco dining area with a gazebo which will accommodate six persons and another covered area featuring a built-in coral stone bar and a barbecue.

A gorgeous stretch of beach is just a few steps away, through an arched gateway with wall mounted shower for rinsing off, after an excellent swim in the crystal blue waters.

This ideal location is not far from Mullins beach where there are some excellent seaside restaurants and a short drive from historic Speightstown.

Dudley Wood enjoys the status as one of the few properties on the west coast in such a lovely position on Gibbes beach - one of the most beautiful and tranquil beaches on the west coast of Barbados.
